LaShundra Culpepper’s path to the legal profession began with a car accident—an experience that introduced her to an attorney who became more than just legal counsel. He was a trusted family friend and a pillar of the community. That early encounter shaped her belief that lawyers should be advocates who serve not just cases, but people—with care, compassion, and consistency.
LaShundra earned her B.A. in Business Administration and Management from LeMoyne-Owen College before pursuing her Juris Doctor at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. With a deep sense of purpose, she founded Culpepper Law Group with a simple but powerful motto: Care in Action. Her mission is to build a legacy through advocacy—empowering individuals, protecting families, and serving as a legal lifeline during life’s most challenging moments.
With strong roots in Memphis and a vibrant practice in Houston, LaShundra splits her time between both cities—bringing Southern hospitality, sharp legal insight, and personal attention to every client. Outside of the courtroom, she’s a dedicated mom, a loyal Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Texans fan, and a self-proclaimed foodie who loves exploring new restaurants and sharing good meals with great friends.
